"impressive recital”
From prominent singers one knows how difficult it is to change from opera to Lied. Nevertheless this worked excellently.
...here also Heilmann showed a creative power and sensitivity that can almost not be heard more impressive.
...the Brahms- Regenlied was extraordinary in its progression...
...the famous "Surabaya- Johnny" convinced through the contrasts of never- not even from famous interpreters- heard tenderness and desperate fury...
...in Hollaender´s "Ich bin von Kopf bis Fuß” the soprano did not copy Marlene Dietrich. One heard that songs completely different, enthrallingly new and better. One of the evening´s discoveries.
...alway in correspondance of content and form...

NORDKURIER november 2008, Freischütz- Ännchen,
Susanne Ellen Kirchesch as Ännchen is the only one who likewise sings, acts and speaks ravishingly.
WESTFÄLISCHE NACHRICHTEN, 10/11/2008- Fauré, Requiem,
Namable soloists enoble the evening. ... Susanne Ellen Kirchesch beguiles with her instrumentally controlled soprano. Accordingly her "Pie Jesu" is subtle and tasteful.
BLICKPUNKT MUSICAL, april 2008- Cabaret, Sally Bowles,
The discovery of the evenig is Susanne Kirchesch as Sally Bowles. Whoever had been doubting that an opera singer who had to be brilliant at singing a belcanto Adina in Donizetti´s "L´elisir d´amore" the evenings before, would be able to switch to the "Cabaret"- style, very quickly got the clear answer: She can. She switches artfully between different styles, one time sings with a childlike soprano ("Mami") , the next time with a tantalizing chest voice ("Mein Herr"). Vocal technique and expression are always right, a fact that is all the more astounding as the choreography demands everything from doing the splits to singing with a head tilt.
As an actor she creates her own, very vulnerable Sally Bowles with disarming intensity.
